Ryan Downey

Ryan Downey is currently an Associate Professor of Physiology at the American University of the Caribbean. Prior to this, Ryan held various teaching and research positions at institutions such as Georgetown University, George Mason University, and Emory University School of Medicine. With a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Integrative Biology from UT Southwestern Medical Center, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Learning, Design, & Technology from Georgetown University, and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Physiology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Ryan has a strong educational background to support their roles in academia. Additionally, Ryan has served in editorial and advisory positions at the American Physiological Society.
