Sandra V. Spadoni

Sandra V. Spadoni, CAE, currently serves as the Director of Society Governance & Leadership at the American Physiological Society, a position held since August 2019. In this role, Sandra oversees governance operations and facilitates communication among organizational leaders. Prior to this role, Sandra was the Associate Director at the American College of Cardiology from December 2008 to May 2019, where responsibilities included managing Board communications and logistics for large events, as well as developing the executive office budget. Earlier experience includes positions as a Legal and Executive Secretary at Jenner & Block and a Legal Secretary at Steptoe & Johnson LLP, providing administrative support in complex litigation settings. Sandra holds a degree in Political Science and History from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
