David Morley, AICP, is an experienced professional in the field of urban planning, currently serving as the Research Program and QA Manager at the American Planning Association since July 2007. In this role, David oversees the APA's Research KnowledgeBase and Inquiry Answer Service, provides quality assurance for applied research, leads sponsored research projects, and edits Zoning Practice. Previous positions at the APA include Senior Research Associate and Research Associate and Planning Advisory Service Coordinator. Additionally, David has experience as an Adjunct Professor at Roosevelt University, teaching the course “Sprawl, Transportation, and Planning.” David holds a Master of Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from Western Michigan University.
