Emily Pasi

Emily Pasi, MBA, serves as the Public Affairs Director at the American Planning Association since January 2015, where notable accomplishments include managing a prominent national outreach campaign that achieved over 611 media placements and 288 million media impressions. Under Emily's leadership, the national grassroots network expanded by more than 9,000 members, significantly increasing advocate actions by over 800 percent from 2016 to 2020. Previously, Emily held various roles at the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, including Public Affairs Coordinator, where a multi-year business plan and joint communications initiatives were launched. Emily's educational background includes an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Penn State University.
