American Players Theatre
Mr. Watson is the Chief Financial Officer of Steve Brown Apartments. He has personally overseen the development of more than 1,200 beds of student housing and several hundred multifamily units, as well as $400 million in reale state transactions and structured finance. He joined Steve Brown Apartments in 1988 and has 25 years experience in student housing operations, multifamily management and commercial real estate finance and development.
A Minnesota native, Mr. Watson has an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a business degree from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin. He holds a Wisconsin Certified Public Accountant license and sits on the board of Downtown Madison, Inc. and American Players Theatre.

American Players Theatre is a professional theater located just outside Spring Green, Wisconsin. Situated on 110 acres of hilly woods and meadows, APT has two theaters, the newly renovated 1089-seat outdoor amphitheater and the 201-seat indoor Touchstone Theatre. From June through November, APT produces nine plays in rotating repertory. With annual attendance of over 100,000 and an annual budget in excess of $6 million, APT ranks as the country’s second largest outdoor theater devoted to the classics.
