Hilary Segura

Hilary Segura has diverse work experience in various roles related to government relations and insurance. Hilary worked as an Assistant Vice President and Counsel for State Government Relations at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association from December 2014. Before that, they served as an Associate Director of Government Services, Legislative Affairs at the Office of Governor Pat Quinn starting in October 2013 and ending in November 2014. Prior to that, they held positions at the Illinois Department of Insurance, including Senior Policy Advisor from July 2013 to October 2013 and Chief of Staff from July 2012 to July 2013. Hilary also has a background at American Family Insurance, where they worked as Government Affairs Counsel from October 2006 to July 2012, Staffing Specialist from July 2005 to October 2006, and Casualty Claim Representative from June 2003 to July 2005.

Hilary Segura received their Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Marquette University Law School from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Marquette University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999.
