Jessica Hanna has more than a decade of experience in the insurance industry, focusing on public affairs and communications. Jessica is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCI), a role they have held since 2019. Prior to this, they held the same position at the American Council of Life Insurers - ACLI, where they led advocacy strategies on behalf of the U.S. life insurance industry. Before that, they worked at the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America, where they held several roles, including Senior Director of Federal and International Public Affairs. Throughout their career, Jessica has been involved in developing and leading communications strategies, handling media spokesperson duties, and managing various regulatory and legislative issues within the insurance industry.
Jessica Hanna received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science & Communications from Florida State University. Jessica then attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where they earned a Doctor of Law - JD degree. Jessica also completed an MBA program at the Florida State University - College of Business. Prior to their university education, they attended Melbourne Central Catholic.
