Brian S. Hart

Brian S. Hart, MD, FAPA, serves as the Area Chief of Hospital Psychiatry Services at Eskenazi Health since July 2014, overseeing emergency, inpatient, and consultation psychiatry programs. In addition to this role, Brian is actively involved in several committees, including the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and the Ethics Committee. As a member of the Indiana Psychiatric Society and the American Psychiatric Association, Brian has held various leadership positions, including President and Treasurer, and represents Indiana psychiatrists at the APA Assembly. Brian also contributes to medical education as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine and has participated in various boards and committees focused on mental health and behavioral healthcare workforce needs. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ball State University.
