Colleen Coyle

Colleen M. Coyle has a strong background in legal and compliance work. Colleen M. served as the General Counsel for the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the American Psychiatric Association Foundation (APAF) from 2011 onwards. In this role, they provided advice and guidance to the executive team and Boards of Trustees on business strategies, policies, and potential risks. Colleen M. oversaw various legal matters such as compliance, risk management, employee relations, litigation, ethics, contracts, grants, intellectual property, privacy and data security, taxes, and real estate.

Coyle also worked on significant cases, including representing clients in death penalty cases and appearing before the Supreme Court on three occasions. In addition, they played a key role in advising executive and corporate leaders on daily issues for a large retail chain in the US and Europe.

Colleen M. Coyle has a diverse education background. Colleen M. obtained a Doctor of Law - JD degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. Colleen M.'sclass rank was 3/193. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English and Government from Georgetown University.
