Lisa Diener began their work experience in 1993 as an Account Executive at Courtesy Counts, where they developed and managed mystery shopping programs for clients such as Chase Manhattan Bank and DSW. Lisa then moved on to work as a Sales Promotion Manager at Cosmetic Center, Inc., where they oversaw sales promotion activities and managed cause-related marketing programs. In 1999, Lisa joined iSky, Inc. as an Account Executive, where they managed customer care programs for automotive manufacturers. Lisa then joined SHRM in 2000 and held various roles, including Director of Membership Marketing and Director of Marketing, where they led teams and developed strategic marketing plans to drive membership growth. Finally, Lisa is currently serving as the Managing Director of Membership at the American Psychiatric Association, where they oversee membership recruitment and retention goals and manages the Salesforce membership database.
Lisa Diener completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with a focus on Clinical Sociology and Criminal/Juvenile Justice, from Ithaca College. Lisa has also obtained various certifications in subjects such as Data Visualization, Finance for Non-Financial Managers, Project Management, and SEO, among others from LinkedIn.
