Oscar Perez M.D.

Oscar Perez MD, DLFAPA has extensive experience in psychiatry and substance use disorders, currently serving as President of Oscar E Perez MD and Medical Director at Rio Vista Behavioral Health. Since 1980, Oscar has directed Oscar E Perez MD PA, and has contributed to various institutions as a psychiatric consultant and Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University. Additional roles include serving as Hispanic Deputy Representative for the American Psychiatric Association and as Staff Psychiatrist at Montevista Retirement Center. Oscar holds a medical degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and completed residency programs at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and Baylor College of Medicine.
