Gillian Isaacs Russell, Ph.D., has extensive experience in the field of psychoanalysis, currently serving on the COVID-19 Advisory Team for the American Psychoanalytic Association since February 2020, providing support and information during the pandemic. In private practice since 1988 as a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist, Gillian also contributes to the British Journal of Psychotherapy as a member of the Reviewing Panel since 2016. Previous roles include faculty positions with the China American Psychoanalytic Alliance and leadership on the Board of Directors for the British Journal of Psychotherapy from 1999 to 2003. Gillian's educational background includes degrees from the University of London and training at the London Centre for Psychotherapy/British Psychotherapy Foundation and the British Psychoanalytic Council.
