Bevin Johnston has extensive experience in brand strategy and creative direction. Bevin has served in senior roles at several organizations, including the American Psychological Association (APA) and Partnership for Public Service. At APA, Bevin repositioned the association and its publishing house through a comprehensive brand strategy. Bevin also established and directed a cross-functional brand and creative team. At Partnership for Public Service, Bevin developed and implemented a brand strategy that elevated awareness of the organization and its mission. Bevin also led the implementation of Salesforce for constituent management. Prior to these roles, Bevin worked as an independent brand strategy consultant and as a senior creative development manager at Ruesch International. Bevin began their career at MDB, Inc. as a new media and graphic design associate.

Bevin Johnston studied architecture at Virginia Tech from 1996 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree. Prior to that, they completed precollege coursework in architecture, design, and art history at North Carolina State University in 1995-1996. In addition to their education, Bevin has also obtained a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from The Project Management Institute (PMI).
