Bruce Bonecutter, PhD, is a highly experienced clinical psychologist with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Co-Chair of the Social Responsibility Section for the Illinois Psychological Association since July 2021, Bruce co-founded The Genesis Therapy Center in January 1987, where expertise is provided as a Clinical Psychology Consultant. An active member of the American Psychological Association since 1976 and the Illinois Psychological Association since 1984, Bruce has held various leadership roles, including President and Parliamentarian. Previous experience includes directorial positions at the Isaac Ray Center from 2007 to 2017 and significant contributions to LaSalle Street Church until July 2019, where involvement included various committees and an Elder Board member role. Bruce holds a PhD in Clinical and Community Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology, a Masters in Social Science from the University of Chicago, and a BA in Psychology and Anthropology from Michigan State University.
