Bruce Nystrom

Bruce Nystrom, PhD, is a licensed psychologist with extensive experience in psychological evaluation and therapy. Currently serving at River Park Psychology Consultants, LLC, and as a forensic psychologist for Centurion Health, Bruce specializes in various evaluations, including pre-employment and fitness for duty assessments, as well as therapy focusing on stress management and compliance with medical treatment. With a longstanding commitment to advocacy, Bruce has held multiple roles within the American Psychological Association as the Kansas Federal Advocacy Coordinator, coordinating grassroots efforts and managing political advocacy for psychology. Bruce's prior roles include board membership at the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board and consulting for police departments. Academic credentials include a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Texas and a history of leadership in state and federal psychological advocacy.
