Nadia Dawood, M.S. has a diverse work experience in various marketing and management roles. Nadia is currently the Director of Diversity and Impact at the American Psychological Association, where they previously served as the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Manager. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Manager at the American Psychological Association, where they were responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, managing campaigns, and exhibiting at conferences.
Before joining the American Psychological Association, Nadia worked as a Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist at The Chronicle of Higher Education, where they contributed to company initiatives and developed multi-channel campaigns.
Earlier in their career, Nadia was an Account Manager at MDT Direct, where they coordinated and executed advertising and marketing campaigns, and provided post-campaign reporting and analysis. Nadia also gained experience as a Summer Intern at Telos Corporation, where they managed inventory for the Department of Defense agency DMDC.
Nadia Dawood, M.S. earned their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Global Strategic Communications from Florida International University in 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy at Virginia Tech in 2009. Additionally, Nadia has obtained several certifications including Impactful Presentations from IDEO U in 2023, Advanced Google Analytics and Google Analytics for Beginners from Google in 2017, Digital Strategy from Online Marketing Institute in 2016, and HTML Email: Building and Delivering Custom Email from Think Big Learn Smart - Adobe Authorized Training Center in 2015.
