Sharon Gan

Sharon Gan, PhD, is a seasoned professional in instructional design and educational technology, currently serving as a Senior Instructional Designer at the American Psychological Association since November 2021. With extensive experience in academia, Sharon previously held roles as an Online Lecturer at the University of Kansas and as an Instructional Designer at multiple institutions including Saint Luke's College of Health Sciences and Park University. In addition to these positions, Sharon has worked as an LMS Administrator at SkilledKC Technical Institute and as a Communications Specialist at Yum! Brands. Sharon's educational background includes a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with a focus on Educational Technology from the University of Kansas, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources Consulting from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
