Trent Spiner

Trent Spiner is an accomplished editor and journalist with extensive experience in leading editorial teams and covering significant news events. Currently serving as the Editor-in-Chief for the American Psychological Association since 2020, Trent oversees the flagship communications products, including the national magazine Monitor on Psychology. Previous roles include reporting for POLITICO during the 2020 election, as well as executive editing for the New Hampshire Union Leader, where Trent was recognized as one of the top young editors by Editor & Publisher magazine. Additional experience includes reporting for WMUR-TV and Concord Monitor, where Trent broke national news stories. Trent holds a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard University and a BA in Journalism and Political Science from Franklin Pierce University.
