Sanden Totten

Sanden Totten is an experienced media professional with a focus on children's podcasting and science reporting. Currently a Senior Editor for Kids Podcasting at American Public Media Group since April 2017, Sanden oversees a team managing several popular kids shows, such as Brains On and Smash Boom Best. As a co-founder of the non-profit organization Kids Listen, established in September 2018, Sanden advocates for high-quality children's podcasts. Previous experience includes a role as a TV Writer for Netflix's Bill Nye Saves the World, and a Senior Science Reporter with Southern California Public Radio, where extensive reporting on diverse scientific topics was conducted. Sanden also held various positions at Minnesota Public Radio, contributing to both networked journalism and innovative news productions. Sanden's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and English from Oberlin College.
