Shawn Halford

Shawn Halford has extensive work experience in the media industry. Shawn began their career in 1990 at AmericanLife TV Network, where they worked in Programming and Traffic. In 1993, they joined Discovery Communications as a Senior Scheduling Coordinator for Discovery Channel, and they remained in this role until 1997. At that time, they joined Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) as Senior Director of Program Scheduling, and they held this position for over two decades, until 2018. In 2018, Halford transitioned to American Public Television, where they currently serve as the Executive Vice President of Content and the Vice President of Exchange Content and Digital Services.

Shawn Halford completed their Bachelor's degree in Broadcast and Cable Communication from Penn State University. Shawn attended the university from 1986 to 1990.
