Jeremy Rueter

Jeremy Rueter has extensive work experience in the IT field. Jeremy began their career as a Help Desk Technician at Cherokee Information Services, Inc. from February 2001 to November 2003. Jeremy then worked as a Help Desk Technician at D&R International from September 2004 to February 2006. At Chemonics International, they held multiple roles including IT Help Desk Technician, IT Help Desk Manager, and Communications Manager - Websites and Social Media from March 2006 to November 2012.

Currently, Jeremy is at the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). Jeremy worked as a Web Manager from November 2012 to March 2017, where they were responsible for technical support and overseeing the efficiency of APTA websites. Jeremy then served as an IT Director from March 2017 to July 2018, and is currently the Senior IT Director. In these roles, they managed IT operations and engaged with external vendors for complex design requests. Jeremy has demonstrated expertise in managing IT teams, providing technical support, and overseeing website and social media properties.

Jeremy Rueter attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1989 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in History. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the "SharePoint Designer 2010: Branding SharePoint Sites" course at Lynda.com in January 2015, as well as the "SharePoint 2010 Essential Training" course at the same institution in October 2014. Jeremy also obtained certifications in A+ and Network+ from Comptia, although the specific dates of when these certifications were obtained are unknown.
