Brittany Armel

Brittany Armel is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Brittany began their career at Potomac Housing Realtors LLC as an Accounting Assistant, where they worked from 2005 to 2008. In 2010, they joined the City of Ranson as a Community Development Assistant and Local Government Intern, gaining valuable administrative experience. Brittany then moved on to the Monongalia County Children Advocacy Center, where they served as a PR Representative for a brief period in 2011. In the same year, they started working at American Public University System as a Financial Aid Advisor, eventually progressing to the role of Senior Financial Aid Advisor in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, Brittany took on the role of Manager, Financial Aid Advising, leading and supporting a team of 60 employees. Most recently, they worked as the Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships and Employer Relations at American Public University System from 2019. Brittany has demonstrated strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to building relationships with employers and recruiting partners.

Brittany Armel obtained their Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations from West Virginia University between 2008 and 2011. In addition, they have obtained several certifications in project management, LinkedIn recruiting and sales, virtual recruiting, and various subjects from the American Public University System between 2022 and 2023.
