Laura Willner has more than 15 years of work experience in the education sector. Laura currently holds the position of Chief Curriculum Officer at the American Reading Company since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the EVP Curriculum & Instruction from January 2019 to March 2023. Laura has also held various leadership positions within the American Reading Company, including Vice President of Program, Vice President of Program and Academic Design, Executive Director of Curriculum & Academic Design, and Director of Curriculum Design. Additionally, Laura worked as an Executive Coach at the American Reading Company from August 2009 to December 2011. Before joining the American Reading Company, Laura worked at the Philadelphia Montessori Charter School as the Director of Academic Achievement and as a Classroom Teacher.
Laura Willner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology, summa cum laude, from Lewis & Clark College from 2000 to 2004. Laura then pursued further education at the Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling from 2004 to 2006, earning a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) as part of the Language and Literacy Cohort.
