Jamie Smith

Jamie Smith has extensive experience in public service and real estate. Since December 2014, Jamie has served as the Jefferson County District Clerk and concurrently works as a Real Estate Agent with American Real Estate, ERA Powered since October 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a City Councilman for Ward IV in Beaumont from June 2007 to December 2014, where Jamie focused on public engagement and addressing living conditions. Jamie was also an Office Administrator at the Jefferson County Clerk's Office - Election Center from May 2005 to December 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University, a Bachelor of Technology in Management Information Systems from Lamar University, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from St Philip's College.
