Elyse Shelger MSN, RN, PHN, CCRN, NE-BC is a seasoned nursing professional with extensive experience in leadership and critical care. Currently serving as Vice-Chair on the Mission Impact Committee and as a Board Member at the American Red Cross Orange County Chapter, Elyse also co-chairs the Communication/Voice of Nursing Committee for the Association of California Nurse Leaders. At CHOC Children's, Elyse holds dual roles as Nursing Supervisor and Critical Care Float Team RN, while also working as RN Case Manager at Hoag Hospital. Previous roles include Director of Medical Operations at Skin Laundry and Critical Care Float Team RN at Stanford Children's Health. Elyse co-founded Organized Minds and has a diverse background, including a period as a professional soccer player. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from Santa Clara University, an MSN in Nurse Leadership from West Coast University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Samuel Merritt University.
