Alissa Magrum is an accomplished nonprofit leader with extensive experience in water safety and drowning prevention. Currently, Alissa serves as the Executive Director of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance and as a Program Evaluator for the American Red Cross. Previously, Alissa held the role of Strategic Advisor and Executive Director at Colin's Hope, where leadership spanned over twelve years, focusing on various aspects of nonprofit management, including program development and community impact. Alissa also contributed to organizations such as The ZAC Foundation for Children's Safety, Hill Country Ride for AIDS, and Austin Sunshine Camps in roles emphasizing water safety and support. With a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Ethics from St. Edward's University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Mary Washington, Alissa’s background combines educational expertise with practical nonprofit experience.
