Cari Dighton

Cari Dighton is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager for International Services & Service to the Armed Forces at the American Red Cross since May 2018, where previous roles included Division Communications Director and Regional Communications Director. Prior to this, Cari worked as the Communications & Engagement Manager for Early Matters Dallas at Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas from March 2016 to April 2018, promoting the importance of high-quality early education. Additional experience includes positions as a Bilingual Assistant for the Dallas Independent School District, Foreign Language Assistant for UCETAM and Comunidad de Madrid, Reporter/International Page Editor for The Ghanaian Chronicle, and various roles in journalism and study abroad programs. Cari holds a Master of Public Administration with a Graduate Certificate in Urban Nonprofit Management from The University of Texas at Arlington and dual degrees in Journalism and International Studies from the University of Idaho.
