Kevin Roney

Kevin Roney is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in information security and operations management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of IT Operations at the American Red Cross since August 2017, Roney previously held the position of Director of Enterprise Information Security at The Institute for Transfusion Medicine from October 2004 to August 2017, overseeing critical aspects of information security and compliance. Additionally, Roney worked as Manager of Information Security at ITxM, where responsibilities included firewall administration and security monitoring. Earlier in the career, Roney served as the Enterprise Information Security Coordinator at Mellon Financial. Kevin Roney holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Duquesne University, earned in 1994.
