Krystal Steward

Krystal Steward is an experienced executive leader currently serving as the Executive Director for the Southeast Nebraska Chapter of the American Red Cross since December 2021. Prior to this role, Krystal held the position of Executive Coordinator/Chief of Staff at the same organization. Krystal's diverse career includes roles such as Grant Coordinator at Casa Of Grayson County Inc, Legal Assistant at First United Bank, and several positions at First United Bank, including Loan Assistant and Loan Documentation Specialist. Krystal also gained valuable experience in customer service management at The Daily Nonpareil and The Durham Museum, where responsibilities included Assistant Director of Membership/Special Events and implementing programming for First Lady Barbara Bush's visit. Early career highlights include managerial roles at the Omaha World-Herald, focusing on educational initiatives. Krystal holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism & Public Relations/Advertising from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
