Mark Smith

Mark Smith is currently the Executive Director at the American Red Cross, where they lead recovery services and guide disaster management efforts nationwide. Previously, Mark served as Chair of the Board of Commissioners at WSSC Water and held various roles at Africare, including Deputy Country Director and Development Officer, managing multi-million dollar programs and fundraising initiatives. Their early career included a position as Policy Analyst at CARE, where they contributed to food aid strategies. Mark holds an MBA from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's Degree in International Development from Lincoln University.
