Rick Nidel

Rick Nidel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, global operations, and organizational development within the humanitarian sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director for Global Safety, Security, and Safeguarding at Habitat for Humanity International, Rick also leads Project Management Training for the American Red Cross, focusing on developing a nationwide program for managers. Previous roles include Director of Global Operations and Portfolio Management at International Justice Mission and Operations and Development Officer at the Syria Justice and Accountability Centre. Rick's expertise encompasses financial management, compliance, and strategic planning, supported by an MBA in International Finance and Project Management from the University of Maryland and a BA in Russian Studies from the University of Virginia.
