Robbie Sofaly

Robbie Sofaly possesses a diverse background in mental health and disaster recovery, with experience spanning various roles since 2010. At the South Carolina Department of Mental Health from August 2013 to May 2014, Robbie served as Assistant State Coordinator for the South Carolina Trauma Practice Initiative, focusing on the implementation of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children affected by trauma. Robbie coordinated academic and enrichment activities as Site Coordinator for the Challenging Horizons Program until July 2014. From February 2020 to March 2023, Robbie held multiple positions at the American Red Cross, including Regional Disaster Officer for the Greater Carolinas Region and Director of Long-Term Recovery Operations, leading disaster management and recovery efforts in regions such as the US Virgin Islands and South Florida. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina-Columbia.
