Thomas Vander Ploeg

Thomas (Tom) Vander Ploeg is the Vice President of Project Management at American Renal Associates (ARA). In this role, he provides strategic guidance for all ARA projects throughout the U.S., including building new dialysis facilities, expansion projects, and relocations, and qualifying new project vendors. Prior to this role, he served as the Director of Project Management at ARA where he was responsible for the development of individual dialysis facilities, including site search/acquisition, preliminary plan development, and quality assurance. Before joining ARA, he served as the Technical Operations Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, where he developed and implemented a centralized technical structure throughout the North Florida Region, and Sr. Director of Project Management where he provided leadership and direction within the Real Estate and Construction Department.
