Kevin Gern has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Kevin is currently the Vice President of Education and Risk Management at the American Rental Association, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Safety at the same organization from September 2019 to January 2022.

In addition, Kevin has been an active member of the fire service since 1997 and currently holds the position of Assistant Fire Chief at Union Deposit VFC South Hanover Twp. since 2005. Kevin also served as the Fire Chief at Union Deposit VFC from 2012 to 2014, where they were responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring overall safety for the township residents.

Kevin Gern has also held positions at Best Line Equipment as the Director of Safety from October 2013 to September 2019, where they provided company-wide training and investigated accidents to increase safe practices. Kevin also served as the Industrial Regional Sales representative from July 2010 to September 2013, focusing on increasing brand awareness and maintaining accounts in various industries.

Furthermore, Kevin has experience in the sales field, working as a BioPharm Regional Sales Manager at Advanced Scientifics from May 2008 to July 2010. In this role, they managed sales representatives and worked closely with customer product and process development teams.

Prior to this, Kevin worked at Cummins Power Systems, LLC as a Territory Manager from October 2004 to May 2008, where they managed power generation sales and conducted seminars to update engineers and customers on the company's products. Kevin also worked as a Planned Maintenance Sales representative at the same company from April 2003 to October 2004, where they sold maintenance agreements and managed client accounts.

Throughout their diverse work experience, Kevin Gern has demonstrated leadership skills, expertise in safety and risk management, and successful sales capabilities.

Kevin Gern attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sales and Marketing. In addition to their formal education, Kevin has obtained two additional certifications. In October 2020, they completed the Mobile Elevating Work Platform Train the Trainer program and the Telehandler Train the Trainer program, both conducted by Genie – a Terex brand.
