Carl Hinkson

Carl Hinkson currently serves as the Chair at the American Respiratory Care Foundation and as the President of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC). Since September 2016, Carl has held the position of Senior Director of Ancillary Services at Providence Health & Services, where oversight includes Respiratory Therapy, rehab therapies, and diagnostic imaging across multiple campuses. Prior to this, Carl worked as an Assistant Manager at Harborview Medical Center from 1996 until 2016. Carl's educational background includes a Master of Science in Respiratory Care from Northeastern University, a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care from The University of Kansas, and an Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Care Therapy from Highline College.
