Heather Willden serves as the Director of Governance and Strategic Initiatives at the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) since June 2017. Prior to this role, Heather worked as a Communications Coordinator for Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District from February 2013 to June 2017, and as a Communications Specialist at NEISD from September 2007 to February 2013, marking the beginning of a career in School Public Relations. Earlier experience includes serving as a Program Assistant and Intern at the Alamo Area Council of Governments, where Heather developed and molded a newly created position. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trinity University, earned between 1999 and 2003.
