Andrew Fisk

Andrew Fisk is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Northeast Regional Director at American Rivers since September 2023, Fisk previously held the position of Bureau Chief for Natural Resources at the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection from October 2022 to September 2023. Significant prior roles include Executive Director at Connecticut River Conservancy from May 2011 to October 2022 and Bureau Director for Land & Water Quality at the Maine Department of Environmental Protection from September 2003 to February 2011. Additionally, Fisk contributed to academia as an adjunct faculty member at both the University of Maine and Bowdoin College and has experience as the Marine Aquaculture Policy Coordinator at the Maine Department of Marine Resources. Fisk holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science & Land Use Policy from Rutgers University and a B.A. in Biology from the University of Rochester.
