Carolyn Simons

Carolyn Simons is a skilled professional with extensive experience in transportation funding policy and executive support. Currently serving as Senior Director of State Funding Policy at the American Road and Transportation Builders Association since April 2014, Carolyn manages the Transportation Investment Advocacy Center, focusing on tracking state and local transportation funding policies and developing educational resources. Prior roles include Executive Assistant at The ONE Campaign, where support was provided for senior leadership and project management for health campaigns, and Executive Assistant at NAF, aiding the CEO and managing grant applications and communications. Carolyn also has internship experience with OneVoice Movement, which aimed to foster dialogue between Israeli and Palestinian communities, and ABC News, where writing skills were developed. Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle Eastern Studies and Political Science from Rutgers University.
