Ronald E. Trost has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Operational Excellence at American Roller, a leading provider of industrial rollers and engineered services. In this role, Ronald works closely with engineers, research scientists, and technical field experts to optimize production processes.

Prior to their current position, Ronald was the Founder, President, and Coach of OpX Designs, LLC, an independent consultancy focused on teaching lean methodologies, problem-solving, and strategy deployment. Ronald E.'sgoal was to empower people with lean knowledge to drive continuous improvement and improve business performance.

Before that, Ronald worked at Parker Hannifin - Accumulator & Cooler Division for several years, where they held various roles. As the Division Lean Manager, they were part of the Senior Leadership team and developed short and long-term strategies for operational performance, growth, product development, and talent development. Ronald also served as the Division Lean/POP/EHS Manager, overseeing Lean Transformations in three manufacturing facilities and developing value stream maps for five value streams.

Earlier in their career, Ronald worked at Fluid Power Systems as an Account Manager and Engineer. In the role of Account Manager, they successfully grew sales for the company's largest customers and assisted in customer quality certifications. As an Engineer, they designed hydraulic cartridge valves and integrated circuits and managed products from development to production.

Throughout their career, Ronald has demonstrated expertise in lean methodologies, problem-solving, strategy deployment, and operational performance. Ronald E. has a strong track record of driving continuous improvement and optimizing processes to improve business performance.

Ronald E. Trost earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Technology from Illinois State University, where they studied from 1984 to 1989. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, completing their studies between 1999 and 2001. In addition to their degrees, Ronald obtained the certification of Six Sigma Blackbelt from AIT Business Solutions LLC in March 2010.
