Jess Navarrete Jr

Jess Navarrete Jr has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jess worked as a Software Developer Lead at American Savings Bank, where they developed custom ASP.NET web apps and built MuleSoft API integrations. Prior to this role, they held the position of Software Developer II. Jess also served as a Sr. Software Engineer at HMSA, where they were the lead developer for hmsa.com and islandscene.com, as well as healthcareplainandsimple.com. Before their transition into the tech industry, Jess was a Software Engineer Graduate Intern for the State of Hawaii, where they prototyped websites for upcoming IT infrastructure reorganization. Jess began their career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Sergeant (Rank E-5) and participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Jess was meritoriously promoted to a leadership role during their last two years in the military.

Jess Navarrete Jr obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from Hawaii Pacific University. Jess completed this degree program from 2009 to 2012. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science in Information Systems with a concentration in Software Engineering from the same university. This degree program was completed from 2012 to 2014.
