David Finney

David Finney currently serves as the Director of Operations, Director of Security and Facilities, and Director of Safety and Security at the American School of Doha since May 2018. Previous roles include Director of Safety and Loss Prevention and Director of Security at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Operations Manager at IKEA Group, and Director of Safety and Security at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. David Finney also has a background in law enforcement, having worked as a Detective Inspector and Detective Sergeant with Lancashire Police UK, where responsibilities included managing covert operations and conducting risk assessments. Educational qualifications include a NEBOSH International Diploma in Health and Safety and completion of the OSPRE Sergeants and Inspectors Law Exams.
