Luke MacBride, M.Ed has extensive experience in the field of education. Luke is currently serving as the High School Vice Principal at the American School of Warsaw. Prior to this, they held the same position at the Lincoln Community School from 2017 to 2021. Before relocating to Warsaw, Luke worked at the Shanghai American School, where they served as the IBDP Coordinator from 2014 to 2017 and also held various roles such as Head of TOK Department, CAS Coordinator, EE Coordinator, and Internship Coordinator from 2010 to 2017. Prior to their time in Shanghai, Luke worked as an IB Teacher at the American School of Valencia from 2006 to 2009. Before that, they served as a Teacher at Bayview Glen from 2004 to 2006 and at the NYC Department of Education from 2003 to 2004. With their diverse experience and educational background, Luke brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their roles in the field of education.
Luke MacBride, M.Ed has a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, which was completed from 2003 to 2004. Luke also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy and English Literature from Wilfrid Laurier University, completed from 1999 to 2001. Lastly, MacBride earned a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree in Educational Leadership from Plymouth State University, completed from 2013 to 2016.
