Frank Vargas

Frank Vargas is an experienced maritime professional with extensive expertise in fleet management, compliance, and safety within the fishing industry. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Washington State Maritime Cooperative and the Alaska Chadux Network, Vargas plays a vital role in oil spill preparedness and response. As the Fleet Compliance and Regulatory Director at American Seafoods Company since 2013, responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations for operations off the west coast of the US and Alaska. Vargas has previously held management positions in various maritime companies, including roles as Captain for multiple fishing vessels. A lifelong learner, Vargas has continuously pursued education relevant to the maritime industry and holds a US Merchant Mariner Officer/USCG Master License.
