Alicia Barroso

Alicia Barroso is currently the Vice President at American Securities. Alicia has also been a Life Sciences Investor, Healthcare Private Equity Investor, and Investment Banking Junior Women in Banking (JWiB) - Events Chair. Alicia has been with American Securities since August 2020, prior to that they were with Dana-Farber Biotech Venture Fund from May 2020 to August 2020. Before their time at Dana-Farber, they worked as a Healthcare Private Equity Investor at Tailwind Capital from August 2016 to July 2019 where they were in charge of membership growth and developing corporate sponsorship program. Alicia has also worked as an Investment Banking Junior Women in Banking (JWiB) - Events Chair at J.P. Morgan from June 2014 to August 2016. Alicia's experience also extends to their work with Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) from March 2008 to March 2014 where they served as a State and National Officer Team.

Alicia Barroso has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami, and a certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in Series 63 and 79. Alicia also has a certification from Adobe Systems Incorporated in Adobe Certified Associate - Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 and Adobe Photoshop CS4. Finally, they have a certification from the Internal Revenue Service in Volunteer Income Tax Assistance/Tax Counseling for the Elderly in IRS VITA/TCE certified in Basic Tax Law.
