Sam Kopolovich

SVP, Strategy at American Securities

Sam Kopolovich is the SVP of Strategy at American Securities. Sam has over 10 years of experience in consulting and risk management.

Kopolovich started their career as a risk analyst at Corporate Risk International (Kroll), where they consulted Western corporations on reducing their exposure to political risks in emerging markets. Sam then moved to Goldman Sachs, where they worked as a consultant on the restructuring of key operational and support functions.

In 2010, Kopolovich joined Oliver Wyman as an Associate. There, they consulted clients in the airline, logistics, financial services, and telecom sectors on strategy, privatization, network optimization, revenue management, and operational efficiency projects. Sam focused primarily on improving clients' commercial and operational performance.

In 2014, Kopolovich joined American Securities as the SVP of Strategy. In this role, they are responsible for leading the firm's strategic planning and execution.

Sam Kopolovich received a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs (Security) from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from American University. Sam also attended SSDS.

They are on a team with Will Chan - Vice Presidents, Scott Wolff - Managing Director, and Ben Dickson - Managing Director. Sandra Oberhollenzer - SVP, Strategy, Chris Wang - VP, Asia Strategy & Operations, and David Xu - Director, Asia Strategy report to Sam Kopolovich. Their manager is Michael Fisch, Founder & CEO.
