Isha Verma, Ph.D., is a research staff member at the University of Michigan Medical School, focusing on therapeutic treatment options for Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP) using human pluripotent stem cell models. With extensive experience in neuroscience, Isha previously served as a postdoctoral research fellow investigating Dravet Syndrome through studies on gene variants and neuronal differentiation. Isha holds positions such as Editor Emeritus and Editor in Chief of POSTdocket for the National Postdoctoral Association, along with roles including Course Facilitator for a science communication course and Outreach Chair for Michigan DNA Day.
