Karen King has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Communications Manager at the American Society for Nutrition from October 1989 to December 1999. Karen then worked as the Director of Publications from January 2000 to March 2010, and eventually became the Vice President for Publications from April 2010 onwards. Prior to their work at the American Society for Nutrition, Karen was an HLA Contracts Specialist at the American Red Cross from 1984 to 1989.
Karen King earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Syracuse University in 1972. Karen then pursued further education and completed a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Cornell University between 1978 and 1981.
