Emily Wilson has a diverse work experience. Emily started their career in 1997 as a Legislative Assistant at Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. Emily then worked as the Executive Director at EDPMA from 2004 to 2005. After that, they joined the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and held various roles, including Director of Government Relations, Vice President of Advocacy and Clinical Affairs, and Executive Vice President. During their time at ASTRO, they achieved significant accomplishments such as securing government contracts, strategic repositioning of the Research Department, and leading the development of ASTRO staff's Core Values and Operating Principles.

Emily Wilson attended Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service from 1992 to 1996. Emily obtained a degree in History & Diplomacy during their time at the university.
