Susan Spears Del Castillo, CMP, has extensive experience in event planning and management, holding the position of Senior Meetings Manager at the American Society for Radiation Oncology since August 2016. Prior to this role, Susan operated as an Event Planning Consultant from June 2010 to April 2016, managing various projects for clients such as Celgene and the Rory Staunton Foundation. Susan's earlier tenure at the Biotechnology Industry Organization spanned a decade, where Susan served as Director of Meetings & Operations, overseeing logistics, contract negotiations, and budget management for numerous national and international events. Additionally, Susan held the role of Director of Programs & Operations, leading the development and execution of convention programs. Susan earned a BA in English Literature from George Mason University.
