Marc Bernstein has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Marc is currently serving as the CIO and AQI Executive Director at the American Society of Anesthesiologists®, where they provide strategic planning, operational decision-making, and leadership in fulfilling the organization's goals. Prior to their current role, Marc worked as the IT Executive and CIO at the American Society of Anesthesiologists®.

Before joining the American Society of Anesthesiologists®, Marc was employed at Personify Corp as the VP and Industry Principal. In this role, they guided various teams, including Professional Services, Customer Service, Product Development, Sales, and Marketing, to maximize product adoption and customer satisfaction. Marc also led cross-functional teams to align client technology strategy with Personify solutions.

Marc also held the position of VP of Information Technology at the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) for more than a decade. At IFT, they were responsible for the design, development, implementation, and ongoing operations of digital information systems and software applications. Marc provided leadership and mentoring to the Information Technology and Web staff.

Prior to that, Marc served as Program Director at CNA Insurance, leading teams in a multimillion-dollar project to integrate claims processing functionality. Marc also worked as the VP of Information Technology at Star Financial Network, where they were responsible for IT strategy, software development, and infrastructure operations.

Marc began their career as a Sr. Database Administrator at Cash Station, Inc. and subsequently founded Harmony Consulting Inc, where they held the position of President.

Overall, Marc Bernstein has extensive experience in information technology leadership, strategic planning, and operational decision-making across various industries.

Marc Bernstein, CAE, obtained their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a focus on Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Marc completed this degree between 1981 and 1985. In 2010, they obtained the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership.
